I played countless games of pool with it. I break with it. I sent it back to McDermott for refurbishing (and it looks like new.) The downside was that they could not match the older darker green stain, but the new stain looks fine and gets a lot of comments. My pricey Jackson cue broke, probably because I broke with it. I figure if you can trust your cue for breaks, it's much less useful. But the D series cue is going strong. I had some other McDermotts. One was stolen. I sold another. I was thinking of getting a new cue, then realized how pricey my tastes were. McDermott refurbed the D, turned me a new shaft (completed with the inlay rings) all for $150.
